Donelle + Kyah

This is Donelle & Kyah!

I've known Donelle since about 2014 when I was working at Harley-Davidson. This B.A. momma rides her own motorcycle! I've known of Kyah because of knowing Donelle, but never spent time around her until our session a few weeks ago. 

I really try to help my clients with outfits the most I can (hellooooo Pinterest!), but my biggest word of advice it ALWAYS dress comfortable. Now, on a day that was fifty degrees outside, sweaters and jeans would be a great choice! But on this day, it was ninety degrees. In September. In North Dakota. Who would have known this would happen. Besides being hot, they killed their shoot.

Currently, Donelle is going through breast cancer treatments. With everything that's going on with my mom, I was so excited to take their pictures. We had talked about doing a session but hadn't nailed down a date and then Kyah made an impromptu trip home from college and it was game on.

Donelle and Kyah have a bond that few parents have with their children. You can see how comfortable they are with each other and the love that they share for each other. It's truly amazing.

You've got a lot of people fighting for you in your corner. You've got this. I have no doubt in my mind that you're going to come through this stronger than ever.

Kyah,

Don't get into too much trouble in college! But make sure to enjoy it, too. Blow off some steam, do good in class, and come home often. Your momma needs you.
