"Miss Ashley!" and a big hug is my greeting as I walk through the door.
Today I am at my favorite client's home, and I'm greeted by their daughter.
"Miss Ashley, where is Mr. HooHoo?" she asks.
"Mr. What???" I asked.
"Mr. HooHoo. That lives in your camera bag!"
Oh. Right 😂 I pull out the scrunchie that I made into an owl. I've used Mr. HooHoo for two years now for the littles in front of my camera. Between that and my obnoxious noises, I can usually get some genuine giggles from the kids.
I shoot the Drehers several times a year. We always have so much fun. When I get to their house I don't ring the doorbell or knock on the door. Our relationship has evolved since 2018 and now I am expected to just come on in.
I got the opportunity to meet Brian's dad, Bob, and his wife Carol. I've heard a lot about them over the last few years but this year I got to take their pictures as well!
Once we got done with grandma and grandpa, we popped over to the island to take their annual Christmas photos. I love this family, because there's always shots like this...
And I ALWAYS include both in their gallery.
The bond that I have with this family is what I want to have with all of my clients. I don't care if you only book with me once a year. I want to serve you and your family so well, that when you have a milestone in your life, I am the person you want to share it with. My business isn't a turn and burn. Or a microwave. I'm a crockpot. Low and slow, we'll make some memories together and every time you look at the images we created you'll be transported back and remember all the feels.
Brian, Kayla, Jaeger, Debra -
Thank you again for allowing me to come into your home and share time with you and your family. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see your names come across my phone multiple time a year. You guys are the best clients and I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful family to photograph and take a chance on me and my business.
Make sure to let Bob and Carol know it was a pleasure meeting them and being able to photograph them as well. I hope I get to do it again sometime.
All my love,
Ashley
