Luke + Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn found me about a year ago when I hosted some special holiday mini sessions, her and Luke drove up to Jamestown, and that's where we kicked off our client/photographer relationship. This is before I started doing client questionnaires, so when they got to our location she said they were expecting! Over 2020/2021 I did multiple shoots for them and they quickly became loyal clients.

Fast forward to July 26, 2021 - THEY GOT ENGAGED!!!!

If you know me at all, I have ONE hard-and-fast rule when it comes to my photography: I'll shoot anything except weddings.

Well. Not anymore! Kaitlyn and Luke approached me to photograph their wedding KNOWING it would be my first ever. They still wanted me. *cue the tears*

After a few reschedules due to life being crazy, we finally did our shoot a few weeks ago and I had so much fun. They asked if they could include their son, um, yes! So, we did a little engagement session / family portrait session and had one helluva time. - Which I might add, is normal when you book with me 😉

My personal favorite moment:

Me: "Kaitlyn, put your hand on Luke's cheek"
Kaitlyn: "Oh my gosh!"
Me: "What happened??"
Kaitlyn: "He whispered, 'don't you think she meant my buttcheek?'"
